Mardi Gras At GW Fins

GW Fins is typically only open for dinner. Each year, however, we are open for lunch on the Friday before Mardi Gras. This year’s lunch took place February 17, 2012. Festive and raucous, this lunch included Avion Tequila girls, a brass band, and dance routines by the Pussyfooters and the Rolling Elvi. You can check out all the action here.

The decor of the restaurant is a work of art. Who is the artist that made the metal sculptures that separate the bar and dining room?

    Hi Deborah, the metalworker that made the sculptures that separate the bar from the dining room (as well as the ones in the private dining room) is David Rockhold. He is a local artist and you can find his work here.
