GW Fins will be open for Mother’s Day lunch for the first time in a decade!
The stars are in alignment – because for the first time in a decade, we will be serving Lunch this Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12th! We look forward to having you join us for this memorable occasion.
In addition to serving dishes like our Royal Red Shrimp with spicy Green Apple Slaw and Vietnamese Glaze (pictured above), we will also be offering hand-crafted cocktails highlighted by our Ponchatoula Strawberry Iced Tea, made with Bird Dog Peach Whiskey, house-made sour mix, muddled strawberries and mint and then finished with club soda. This cocktail will make moms truly feel like they’re taking the day off!
Executive Chef Michael Nelson has developed a wonderful array of GW Fins‘ favorites as well as lunch items such as Blackened Tuna Salad, Soft Shell Crab BLT, and Tuna Poke with Yuzu Ponzu with Cucumber Salad and Taro Chips. After receiving rave reviews from the Times Picayune Dining Team at this year’s French Quarter Festival, one highlight of our Mother’s Day Menu is sure to be our Fried Crawfish Po-Boy tossed in Crystal Hot Sauce Butter.
We will also be offering a special Children’s Menu, and just for the occasion, we’re bringing back our famous individually baked warm Apple Pie with Cheddar Cheese Straw Crust served with house-made Vanilla Bean Ice Cream!
To make the day even more special, all Mothers will receive a long stem rose during both lunch and dinner on Mother’s Day. We will be serving lunch from 11am until 2:30pm, and dinner from 5pm until 10pm. We suggest reserving your table as soon as possible, by either phoning us at 504.581.3467 or visiting us online.
